Overview
At fjorge, we create great – great products, great experiences, and great partnerships. We’re looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer with full-stack capabilities to join our development team. This role is critical in delivering high-quality digital products that meet client needs, align with business goals, and stand out for their technical excellence.

As a Senior Engineer, you’ll lead by example: architecting solutions, providing accurate estimates, guiding teammates, and ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards. You’ll be both client-facing and deeply hands-on, comfortable with planning as well as building.

What You’ll Do

• Lead technical planning and architecture for web applications and websites.

• Translate user stories into actionable tasks and oversee development through completion.

• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code across front-end and back-end environments.

• Provide accurate time estimates and track project progress against goals and budgets.

• Collaborate with designers, developers, and clients to deliver seamless experiences.

• Proactively communicate updates, risks, and solutions to keep projects on track.

• Ensure “done means done”—code quality, QA validation, and client-ready delivery.

What We’re Looking For

• Proficiency in:

  • PHP 8+

  • JavaScript (vanilla JS and React 18+ or Angular 14+)

  • HTML5, CSS3, Sass

  • WordPress custom theme and plugin development

  • Linting/formatting (ESLint or Prettier)

  • Git (Github or Bitbucket workflows)

  • VS Code

  • Experience with Figma (design-to-dev workflow)

• Bonus Skills:

  • Webflow

  • Drupal 8+

  • AWS (EC2, S3, CodeDeploy)

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams

  • Familiarity with front-end testing libraries (Jest, React Testing Library)
